Eligibility varies by program, funding source, requested service, geographic area, and available resources. We review requests individually and seek to respond with fairness, dignity, and responsible stewardship.
General Considerations
A review may consider:
- The type and urgency of the need
- Whether the request fits our charitable mission and current programs
- Household circumstances and financial need
- Geographic or funder restrictions
- Documentation needed to verify the request
- Other resources already available or pursued
- Available funds, volunteers, and partner capacity
What May Be Required
Applicants may be asked for identification, proof of residence, household or income information, a bill or lease, provider information, referral documentation, or consent to verify the need. Requirements should be limited to what is reasonably necessary.
Fair and Inclusive Service
Requests are considered without regard to religion, race, ethnicity, gender, disability, or other protected status. Our faith guides why we serve; it is not a test for receiving support.
