A comprehensive approach is the best means for treatment. We need to treat cognitive, emotional, behavioral, social, and systemic problems to be the most effective. The lack of resources and appropriate referrals is a barrier reported at many mental health facilities. Our goal is to provide a list of professionals who are willing to donate their time or reduce their services to clients in need of
additional support.
While a client may be treated for depression and anxiety, but are in a constant financial crisis, the circumstances will continue to be a barrier to full treatment. If they are able to get financial advice and develop a plan to improve their situation over time, then treatment can be more effective. We have found that having existing relationships and doing a warm transfer helps improve the likelihood of individuals receiving additional services. We want to build a connection with local professionals who are willing to assist clients with their everyday needs and are also seeking out mental health services. Whether it is legal advice, car repair assistance, nutritional and fitness guidance, parenting support, or any other needed professional services.
